MISSION X

SBC’s annual Mission X is a vital experiential component of what we are about at SBC. As such it has become a special signature of our desire to help students consistently integrate what they are learning at a practical, ministry level.

First year students (MX1) participate in para-church service and rescue initiatives in Winnipeg’s core area for five days.

Second year students (MX2) travel to First Nations communities of Northern Manitoba. They spend a week learning about Indigenous culture by living and serving alongside the people while building relationships.

Third year students (MX3) have the opportunity of ministering in international settings for 3 weeks in locations like Germany, Mexico, Belize, Nicaragua, Cuba, Paraguay, Bolivia, the Philippines, and England. Students are encouraged to fund-raise the support needed for this trip.

To financially support an MX3 student, visit our donation page.

Pursuit

Pursuit is a 4-month discipleship program designed for young adults to ‘seek first God’s kingdom’ through experiential learning, practical application, and missional experience resulting in spiritual growth, leadership development, and personal discovery in community.
  • Two-week international mission adventure in Western Canada
